Happy Birthday Guy!

     Yesterday was one of my favorite DCP days so far!  It was my friend, Guy's, birthday, and he planned a big group outing to celebrate.  Brittany, Brooke, Alyssa and I all headed to Magic Kingdom to meet up with him and a bunch of people he works with.  We had a BIG group, which made for some pretty fun pictures!

 

      We decided to take on Splash Mountain, and squeeze 12 of us on one boat, as opposed to the usual 8.  It was a tight fit, with all of us wedged in snugly, but the picture was so worth it!

     We went on lots of rides, and met some characters.  It was so different from doing parks with a small group, and so cool to make so many new friends!

 

 

 

      We headed to Hollywood Studios in the early evening, to catch Fantasmic.  We did some rides, and I got to ride Toy Story Mania for the first time!  So much fun!  By the end of the evening, we were all pooped, but Alyssa and I decided we would still go to the party in Guy's apartment.  We stayed for an hour, and met even more new people!
     Days like this make me so sure I made the right decision coming here.  I'm finding I'm more able to step out of my shell, and be more comfortable and outgoing, even in a large group of strangers.  It proved to be a blast!
     This morning, I woke up super super sick.  It's been coming for a few days, and I guess all my fun finally caught up to me.  So today, the plan is movies, soup, cold meds, and plenty of couch time.  I may head to Grocery Bingo with the roomies later, if I'm feeling up to it.  I just really don't want to be sick at work tomorrow, that'll make for a super rough day.
