One Big Step for this DCP Hopeful...

Last night was a big night on my Disney College Program adventure.  I had my phone interview at 7:45, and a plan to video chat with my potential future roommates at 8:30.  At 7:30, I sat down at my desk.  Everything had been cleared off except a page of notes, and my cell phone.  All I could do was sit and wait. At 7:40, the house phone rang.  I dashed to answer it, and thank goodness I did, because it was my interviewer!
After a minute of shakily trying to answer her questions, the call transitioned into an easy conversation.  She was very easy to talk to, and I feel pretty good that I got in everything I wanted to mention.  She asked what my three top roles were, and I told her BBB, Concierge, and Photopass.  Then she asked me specific questions about BBB and Concierge, both of which she seemed very pleased with my answers.
The 22 minute interview flew by, and before I knew it, she was wishing me luck, and we said out goodbyes.  I then joined my room mates for our first video chat!  It went so well, and I think the three of us are going to get along famously!  Now, I just need an acceptance letter, and we need to find a fourth girl!  This gets more and more exciting by the day!

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

First Things First

Today, I began my application for the Disney College Program!  I filled out my application online, completed and passed my "Web-Based Interview", and scheduled my phone interview for February 24th!  The DCP is something I have been interested in for a few years, but always missed the application windows.  Well, not this time, 2013 is my year!
I've done the research, and now that I've actually got the ball rolling, I can't stop reading every bit of information I can get my hands on.  Of course, I have my reservations about certain aspects (ahem...sharing a bedroom...), but when I think of what a great experience this could be for me, I can't help but be excited!

I've decided to start this blog to document my journey, from this point, to hopefully (knock on wood), the completion of my program.  This way, everybody can keep up with me, and I can share my adventures!
I will include plenty of links with extra information in my posts, just keep your eyes peeled for the clickable colored links!  If you leave me a comment, please be sure to sign it!  Thanks for checking in!
Cross your fingers for me!
